Building maintenance Unit (BMU)

Uses

A Telescopic Jib with Fixed Base BMU (Building Maintenance Unit) is an advanced access solution designed for high-rise building maintenance. It features a fixed base, typically mounted on the roof, and a telescopic jib (an extendable horizontal arm) that can reach various parts of the building’s façade, including recessed or hard-to-access areas.

Key Features

The telescopic function allows the jib to extend when needed and retract for compact storage, optimizing roof space. The fixed base provides exceptional stability, eliminating the need for frequent repositioning of the unit. The jib is also capable of rotating to facilitate precise positioning of the cradle or platform, ensuring safe and efficient access to the building exterior for tasks like window cleaning, façade inspection, and minor repairs.

This BMU system is ideal for modern, complex structures where flexible, reliable access is required. It is designed with integrated safety features, including emergency stops and overload sensors, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards while enhancing worker security.
